Lilac Angel, art therapist and therapist instructor, Jungian psychotherapist and doctoral student in gender studies, joined the faculty of the department in 2020. Ms. Lilac Angel is an art therapist with over 18 years of experience in the field
She has rich experience in treating a variety of populations and public institutions, such as the child and adolescent psychiatric unit at Ichilov Hospital, The psychiatric day hospitalization department at Sheba Hospital, Tel Hashomer, in the association for children at risk, in welfare and in schools, including special education.
She is an expert in treating women who have experienced trauma and loss and combines in her treatments mindfulness, Jungian tools, such as sandbox therapy, Interpretation of dreams and mandala drawings, and among focused methods, such as CBT and EMDR.
Her research focuses on the struggles of women in different life situations.
Her thesis research focused on creativity as an aid to coping with loss among women who have lost a partner, And her doctoral research focuses on the coping of arts therapists in different employment spaces.
